Hierophilia or theophilia is the paraphilia involving sexual attraction to religious and sacred objects. The etymology is from the Greek language hieros, meaning sacred or holy.

The religious symbols and interaction vary greatly from individual to individual, however, studies have shown that this practice is most commonly in conjunction with symbols of Christianity and Satanism.
