Acrophilia, considered by some to be a type of paraphilia, is a sexual attraction to places with a high elevation, often combined with a danger element.

Typically, the endorphins resulting from the natural reaction to being at great height causes sexual stimulation for the individual, sometimes combined with other dangerous acts to heighten the emotional and physical simulation. Sometimes, though rarely, this may be combined with a fantasy of falling or flying.
