Acousitcophilia is the sexual arousal from aural stimulation. The specifics of the sound which generates arousal can vary greatly from person to person. This fetish is sometimes referred to as audiophilia, though technically a misnomer.

While most commonly associated with the sexual arousal from loud sounds, (explosions, bangs, and bursts,) this can also be used to describe someone who experiences sexual stimulation or arousal from specific sounds which the majority would not find sexually arousing, such as car horns, sirens, etc.

Typically, the sexual arousal is associated with an early experience where the sound or noise, or type of noise, was experienced during sexual development.
